Music - Fly me to the moon by Frank Sinatra

Photographed in 1995 using film.

Ft. Lauderdale Stadium - Opened in 1982 and still in use. As of 2014 the stadium is no longer used for spring training for MLB. The New York Yankees trained here from 1962 thru 1995. The Baltimore Orioles trained here from 1996 thru 2009. The stadium was used by the Ft. Lauderdale Yankees of the FSL from 1962 thru 1992. The Ft. Lauderdale Red Sox played here for one season in 1993. Since baseball left, it has been used by semi pro teams as well as the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers of soccer. The Strikers use it for training. Due to its age and lack of new amenities, I doubt a major league team will train here anytime soon.

Location - 1401 NW 55th St. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
