Knights Stadium - Opened April 5, 1990 and permanently closed on September 2, 2013. The stadium was demolished in 2015. Former name "Knights Castle." The Knights moved into a brand new ballpark, "BB&T Stadium" in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina for the start of the 2014 season.

Tenants - The Charlotte Knights of the Southern League and International league 1990-2013. The Knights have had 4 major league affiliates. The Chicago Cubs 1989-1992 (for one season, 1989, the team played in a makeshift park near the construction site of the new Knights stadium. The makeshift park was demolished after the 89 season. Other affiliates included the Cleveland Indians (93-94), the Florida Marlins (95-98) and the longest tenured affiliate, the Chicago White Sox 1999-2014.

Location - 2280 Deerfield Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina. Just about 20 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina on I-77.
