Clemson Memorial Stadium - Opened in 1942 and still in use by Clemson football. Full name is Frank Howard Field at Clemson Memorial Stadium. Nickname is "Death Valley".

The Carolina Panthers of the NFL played here in 1995 for one season as their new stadium was not ready.

Howard's ROCK... located in the east end zone. Clemson players touch the rock when they ran down the hill and onto the field. The rock is from Death Valley, California....hence the nickname of Clemson Memorial Stadium.
