Cotton Bowl - Opened in 1930 and still in use. "The house that Doak built" Known as Fair Park Stadium 1930 - 1936. Original home to the Dallas Cowboys 1960 -1971, when they moved into Texas Stadium. Original home of the Dallas Texans of the AFL 1960 - 1962. The Texans moved to Kansas City and became the Chiefs. Home of the Red River Rivalry 1932 - present, Texas vs. Oklahoma. SMU 1932-1978, 1995-2000. Also hosted the Texxas jam rock concerts from 1978 - 1988. Boston, Van Halen, Deep Purple, Heart, Journey and the Scorpions were just a few of the bands to play at the concert.
Location - 3750 Midway Plaza Dallas, Texas. Inside Fair Park which hosts the State Fair of Texas every October.
