Cheney Stadium - Opened in 1960 and still in use. AAA home for the Tacoma Rainiers of the Mariners organization.

When Cheney first opened, it was the home for the Tacoma Giants. They were here from 1960 till 1965. Then the Cubs took over from 1966 thru 1971. The Twins followed from 1972 till 1977 and then the Yankees for one year, 1978. For one season in 1979, the team was called the Tugs, the AAA team for the Cleveland Indians. The second longest stint for an organization was with the Tigers who were here from 1980 till 1994. It has been the Mariners AAA franchise since 1995.

The team signed a deal in 2009 to keep playing here until at least 2041. Many improvements to the park were included in the deal.
