Oakland Alameda County Coliseum - Opened in 1966 and still in use. Original name is Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum 1966 - 1998, 2004-2011. Network Associates Coliseum 1998-2004, Mcafee Coliseum 2004-2008 and Overstock.com Coliseum 2011- present (shortened to O.co Coliseum. Main tenants are / were The Oakland Athletics 1968 - present. Oakland Raiders 1966 - 1981, 1995 - present, Oakland Invaders (USFL) 1983 - 1985.
Location - 7000 Coliseum Way Oakland California. Just north of the Oracle Arena.
Frank Youell Field - Opened in 1962 and closed in 1965. Temporary home for the Oakland Raiders, who then moved into the Oakland Coliseum in 1966. Demolished in 1969. Site is now a parking lot for Laney College. The stadium was named after Francis Youell who was....an Oakland undertaker. There is no marker of any kind to tell that Frank Youell Field stood on the site. You would never know a stadium was there unless you follow sports history. Where there once was grass, now there is blacktop.
