Location - At the corner of Blaine and Rustin Streets Riverside, California. Adjacent to Cal State Riverside, which uses the field.

Riverside sports complex is a very plain ballpark located adjacent to the University of California at Riverside. They joined the Cal league in 1988 as the Red Wave, a single A team for the San Diego Padres. The Red Wave lasted 2 years in Riverside. The main problems were an inadequate stadium and no beer sales. After the 1990 season, the team moved on up to the high desert in Adelanto and became the High Desert Mavericks. Baseball would return to Riverside in 1993 as another entrance in the Cal league. This time, the Seattle Mariners had their single A team playing at the RSC. The team was known as the Pilots, and ran into the same problems. The last year was in 1995 and the Pilots ended up playing 20 games at Palm Springs stadium, about an hour east of Riverside. The team moved to Lancaster, also in the high desert, in 1996 and became the Lancaster JetHawks. Riverside sports complex is now home to the University of California at Riverside baseball team.
