Music - New York Groove by Ace Frehley

Photographed in 1995 using film.

Madison Square Garden III - Opened in 1925 and demolished in 1968. Site is now One Worldwide Plaza. You may know it as the Peterman building from Seinfeld.

Tex Rickard's building (he also built the Boston Garden) was home to the New York Rangers (1926 - 1968) ant the New York Knicks (1946 - 1968). The New York / Brooklyn Americans of the NHL played here from 1925 - 1942. The St. John's Red Storm also played basketball here from the 1930's thru 1968. And the building was the site of the NIT tournament from 1938 - 1967.

Nothing remains of the old garden. If you watch Seinfeld, you will see traces of what it has become now. The Peterman building.

Location - 8th Ave. between 49th and 50th Streets, New York City (Hell's Kitchen)
