Ivor Wynne Stadium - Opened in 1928, closed on October 27th 2012. The stadium was demolished starting in December of 2012. Known as Civic Stadium 1930 - 1969, Ivor Wynne Stadium 1969 - 2012.

Location - 75 Balsam Ave. N. Hamilton, Ontario.

The Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL (Canadian Football League) have called Ivor Wynne Stadium since 1950. Before 1950, the Tiger Cats played at the the Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association Grounds. The Hamilton Amateur Athletic Association Grounds are still standing. Ivor Wynne Stadium was known as Civic Stadium from 1950 to 1969. The Hamilton Tiger Cats were an inaugural franchise in the CFL, which was formed in 1958. All in all, the Tiger Cats have won 15 Grey Cups, the last one coming in 1999.

The Tiger Cats closed out Ivor Wynne on October 27, 2012. The Cats went out in style as they defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 28-18. This was the final event at Ivor Wynne Stadium. In December of 2012, demolition began on Ivor Wynne. The demolition was completed in April of 2013. A new stadium for the Tiger Cats, Tim Horton Field, was built on the same site as Ivor Wynne.
