Municipal Stadium - Opened in 1923 and demolished in 1976. The site was a vacant lot and community gardens and as of 2008 single family homes are being built on the site.
Known as Muehlebach Field 1923 - 1937, Ruppert Stadium 1937 - 1943, Blues Stadium 1943 - 1954, Municipal Stadium 1954 - 1976. Official name was Kansas City Municipal Stadium.
Location - The southeast corner of E. 22nd Street and Brooklyn Ave. Kansas City, Missouri. This corner would have been the RF entrance to the park. Home plate / 3B would have been on Euclid Ave.
Note... The vacant lot photos are mine. I never saw Municipal Stadium standing. All the stadium shots are from the internet.
