Gillette Stadium - Opened in 2002 as the new home for the New England Patriots of the NFL. Originally called CMIG Field for one season 2002. The stadium was built on the site of the old Bay State raceway, a harness racing track. The racetrack was demolished in 2000 to make way for the new Patriots stadium.

The New England Revolution of the MLS have played here since 2002 also. The U Mass. Minutemen (NCAA) played home games here from 2012 - 2014. They now play select games here, after returning to their on campus stadium following renovations.
