Rogers Arena - Vancouver, British Columbia
Ballparks, Arenas and Stadiums > Rogers Arena - Vancouver, British Columbia
Music - I like to rock by April Wine

Photographed in 1997 using film.

Rogers arena opened in 1995 as General Motors Place. The arena was then renamed in 2011 with its current name.

The Vancouver Canucks of the NHL moved here from the antiquated Pacific Coliseum in 1995 and still call it home. This building was also the site of ice hockey during the 2010 winter olympics.

The expansion Vancouver Grizzlies of the NBA played here from 1995 till 2001 before moving to Memphis Tennessee. They are now known as the Memphis Grizzlies. IMO, the Vancouver Grizzlies had cool uniforms... and I really like the early Canucks jerseys...

Location - 800 Griffiths Way, Vancouver, British Columbia. Just a slapshot away (read right next door) from B.C. Place.
