Packard Stadium was constructed in 1974 as a home to the Arizona State University baseball team. Prior to that, the team played at Goodwin Stadium, along with the ASU football team.

Packard Stadium's tenure as a facility came to an end after the 2014 baseball season. The team moved into a renovated Phoenix Municipal Stadium, about 3 miles from campus. The Sun Devils took over for the Oakland A's who moved spring training to Mesa.

Packard Stadium still stands, although for how long, we don't know. It was used as a holding area for the re construction of Sun Devil Stadium. Both Sun Devil Stadium and the Wells Fargo Arena are right in back of Packard.

Location - 400 S. Rural Road Tempe, Arizona Packard Stadium is located just to the East of Sun Devil Stadium.

You can see Goodwin Field to the lower right with the old baseball stadium next to it. Both are long gone, part of campus buildings and a parking garage.
