Ray Winder Field (demolished) - Little Rock, Arkansas
Ballparks, Arenas and Stadiums > Ray Winder Field (demolished) - Little Rock, Arkansas
Music - All alone by Gota

Photographed in October of 2016 using film. The ones without my watermark were found on the internet.

Ray Winder Field opened in 1932 as Traveler field. It remained that way until 1966 when it was renamed Ray Winder Field. The park was the longtime home to the Arkansas Travelers AA team for many teams. The last affiliation with Ray Winder Field were the Angels. The Mariners took over the Travelers after the 2016 season.

Ray Winder Field was called the Fenway Park of the south. The park was in use for 74 years before finally closing at the end of the 2006 season. The park sat vacant until it was finally demolished in 2012. All that is left is the scoreboard that was in left field.

Location - 400 Broadway St. Little Rock, Arkansas Just behind War Memorial Stadium and the Little Rock zoo.
